On 28 September there is a walk-in-school held for the major groups collective 'Children and Youth'. The major groups collective is a platform for all sectors (agricultural workers, NGOs, workers and trade unions, indigenous and marriages, women, and business and industry) of society. Each sector can delegate one person to participate in the REDD + Project Board.
Ms. C. Elliott, Community Liasion Officer of REDD +, explained, in her welcome word, the importance of the walk-in-schools and introduced the staff of REDD + PMU and SBB who were present. The presentations were followed by a question round and a discussion about logging and deforestation.
